Yes, it is sharp enough!

If you get your hair cut 2-3" off . . . .NOT all split ends starts @ 2-3" from the ends.

They're called split ENDS, because they're OLD GROWTH, not new growth.

If you have curly hair, use conditioner. Never comb or brush, when wet, but finger comb is best!

"Hair myths, such as brushing your hair 100 strokes each day, can cause split ends," Dr. Paradi Mirmirani, an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco, said in an American Academy of Dermatology news release. 7-21-13.

Cutting your split ends yourself, spend 5-10 mins. on a sunny day so you can easily spot them, using a 2" scissors, cut strand by strand, section by section, allowing new growth to take over. Then 2x a year, get a good hair cut. You'll find out, that split ends comes in many lengths, and one strand may even have hundreds of little branches like a tree in them, split in various sizes & shapes.

This won't speed things up, but it will make the hair look healthier while it's growing. Even healthy hair like mine get them, due to normal brushing & styling. Hormonal changes can have a big effect on hair. Split ends are not found just from the ends of the hair, sometimes, you see them where the heat or chemicals started, in various lengths.

Healthy hair comes from: good genes, good hair care, and eating all the healthy foods from Mother Nature.

NO MATTER which link you picked, they all suggest the same foods. Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don't expect to look like you've stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you've changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results. Hair is dead, but hair also has electrical energy; the negative charge of damaged hair can lead to flyways and unruly hair.

Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tampered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .

Look @ my hair now, hair down to my knees, with just the use of bottled cheap shampoo, no conditioner. We also have soft water. When traveling, I briefly rinse with bottled water. Celebrities rinse theirs with Perrier water. ~ InStyle mag.

Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a trillion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies.

"No hair product can change the hair's biology," says Eric Bone, senior VP of global research and innovation @ L'Oreal USA. "Products that 'repair' them are like glue used to put a broken vase back together. At the end of the day, it's still broke," says dermatologist Paul J. McAndrews, MD, a clinical professor @ the University of Southern California School of Medicine. "Overall, products are a temporary fix, although some can help prevent damage. But your best bet is really to stop damaging hair, period."

Giselle Bundchen, the world's highest-earning supermodel, a new Ambassador for Pantene says, she doesn't even own a hairbrush. ‘‘Products are amazing but if you are putting things that are unhealthy inside your body it’s just masking stuff. ... I haven’t drank soda in 10 years. My kids eat what I eat. The first (solid) food my son had was papaya and then avocado. ... They really eat what I eat.’’

No reason why it wouldn't be okay. Though it would probably be better if you get them trimmed up by a hairdresser or parent. If you're only trimming off a few, nail clippers should be just fine for a temporary job. I use my nail clippers all the time as mini scissors, haha!

After trying many shampoos I finally came across this ..Argan life... It does exactly what ı wanted it to do. Don't expect to regrow your hair over night however, constant use is necessary. This is perfect for those that are in the initial stages of balding, because this stops it while you are using the prod uct. Do not stop taking it after you see results, or you will begin losing again.

The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://tr.im/5ePCe

It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss.

There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. But, this does not mean that you cannot do something about your hair loss.

its fine but i would recommend using sharp scissors instead next time in case the nail clippers are dull and damage the hair that way.

You probably shouldn't. Do it when you have scissors and don't cut it if you don't know what your doing, have a parent do it if you don't. Don't cut to much or it might look bad. Hope this helps! :D
