Use papillots. These are funny curlers made of foam material. See this link http://www.friseurbedarf-preiswert.de/images/Flex%2017%20orange.jpg They come in all colours in one package. You can find them at Boots or other drugstores. The grand magasines also sell them. If you can't find them anywhere, email me and I probably find out.

Wash you hair and let it dry HALFWAY. Then put these papillots in. You will have to experiment with the size of the curls. If you want big ones, take more hair per curler. If you only want the lower part in curls, do not roll them entirely up. If you take only little hair per curler and roll it up entirely, you will get an incredible volume which lasts you up to 5 days. Leave them in over night and the curls will be incredible! Only use a big comb to keep the curls. If you use a brush, they won't last that long but still 2-3 days. Since these curlers are of foam, they won't hurt you at night. To secure the hair on the curler, just bend the ends. It won't open by itself.

Seat yourself in front of a mirror. A full length mirror is best, but any will do in a pinch.

Step2

Separate your hair into three sections vertically. If your hair is thick, consider adding more sections. The thinner the sections, the more defined the wave will be.

Step3

Bind the layers so that only the bottom one is loose.

Step4

Plug in the curling iron and let it heat up. While you wait, brush the loose section flat.

Step5

Section the loose hair so that you will be working from one side to the other with your iron. Start at the root of your hair and clamp the section so that the hair is held between the tongs of the iron (not wrapped!). Hold for five seconds, release, and slide the iron down to the next spot of your section that hasn't yet been styled.

Step6

Work your way down each section and then move on to the section next to it. Repeat this until you've completed the loose section.

Step7

Loosely bind the completed section, preferably with a clip to avoid damaging the style.

Step8

Release a bound section and repeat steps 5 and 6.

Step9

Repeat step 8 until all hair is waved.

Step10

Release all waves from their clips. Lightly finger style and spray for a sleek, flat look, or flip your head upside down and spray generously for a funky, wild style.

Hair rollers are a godsend for hair like yours!

They come in loads of sizes and styles.

Just put them in your hair (you can find a tutorial on youtube for this im sure) when it is nearly dry, then blast your head with the hairdryer and finish with hairspray before taking them out.

Should work a treat
