Should i dye the bottom half of my hair?

Question

My hair is a lightish, medium brown. Its my natural color, but its very boring. I've been wanting to change it up a bit for quite a while.

I was thinking about dyeing the bottom half dark brown, or black. My hair is about shoulder length. Do you think it would look good?

I think dying the bottom is too overdone now...If u want to do it, i suggest you dye the bottom like u would regular but leave a layer of ur natual color on the very bottom so when i have it down, it looks like theres hidden dyed pieces in ur hair, plus it looks a lot better when u put ur hair up cuz u can see the different colored hair pieces instead of ur hair half black and half ur natural color, if u did it with a layer of natural color, the bottom and back of ur head would look normal with random peek a boo dyed colors:)

do not put blond streaks through your hair cause it makes you look cheap, and i think this would also apply for dying the bottom half blond as well. though black could look cool, as long as it doesn't stick out too much and look fake. if you were dying black i would recomend a very dark brown as it won't cling and damage your hair as much. for examle, i have a redish alburn hair and i dyed a panel and most of the bottom half dark brown and it worked really well. good luck, but start small if you can't decide, you can always add more,

that would be way edgey :) i think you should go for it; maybe dye it a dark brown the first time and if u like it the go black on the bottom

if u really want to try something new try frosting a few THIN streaks in your hair close to your face ( i love frosted highlights on brunettes)

if u think your hair is boring i would try a new haircut or even style your hair a different way for some change but dying it is a big step.

No, I don't think you should do it. It just seems a little tacky to me. But that is just my opinion.
