Question:
Could I use a Colour Remover for my hair dye?

I dip dyed my hair last night using Loreál Preférence Copper Ombre. Basically I don't like it and was wondering if I could use a colour remover to get rid of it. My hair is completely natural underneath (it's a dark-ish brown), and it's only the ends, not the roots so I was just hoping for suggestions? Thanks in advance:)

ha-ha-ha-ha... that is too funny!

Sorry, but you can't "remove" ombre!! You know that. You have bleached your hair; that is, removed colour from your hair -- it is gone forever, no more, finished. You can't remove that!! All you can do is add in some artificial colour close to your own, and try to cover it up. Not an easy thing to do so it looks good.

Without seeing your hair, I would not even attempt to suggest which colour to use. That you do when you have your consultation [no charge at most salons] with a qualified professional hair colourist. But anything that is close to your own colour (a little lighter is better) would work. I would not use another tint (no one today uses "dye" except in cartoons -- is that where you live?), but I would tend to prefer a semi-permanent colour because it blends in better. Those ends will be a little bit lighter, which looks natural, and you just need to let them grow out and cut them off. That is the only way to get rid of them -- you knew that when you did them in the first place, since the consultant told you that at the time. If you only did them now, it is going to take a very long time to grow out!

What were you thinking???!!!

I have a friend that did ombre about a year ago and she had bleached it first.

Now her natural colour is back so if I were you I would just leave it. Colour remover is absolutely terrible but if you really want to remove the ombre fast use a natural method to get your ends back to normal c:
