How can I make my hair longer?

My hair has split ends of course, alot. My mother gave me relaxers when i was younger and im scared that kinda messed up my hair. I want my hair at least down to the middle of my back. I am african american and hispanic, my hair is more on the african american side tho. Someone plz give me some good tips on how ot grow my hair very long before february or march.

I SWEAR by biotin. It's a cheap vitamin, you take one a day and it will help your new hair grow faster and stronger.



there's not a way to have it grow very long in just a few months, but start the process asap. get a haircut to get rid of the dead ends which will continue to break and split further up, making the bottom ratty part even worse. trust me... i've experienced that more times than i can count. i didn't get hair cuts for months and months thinking i was helping my hair grow longer, when in reality it got so damaged i had to chop a lot more than i wanted to off.



use argan oil every time you get out of the shower. use enough and comb it through.



do hair masks to make your hair shinier, stronger, thicker, etc. there's tons of good recipes online. or you can just buy a good overnight mask or leave in conditioner.



hot showers are great, but suck for your hair. i've been told this more than once. (especially if your hair is colored. the hair color is a gas and the heat from super hot water in the shower allows the pores to open and the hair color to escape more quickly) rinse your hair with as cool water as you can stand. you don't have to freeze your butt off, but don't rinse with scalding water either.



use a wide tooth comb to get as many knots out as you can before you brush.

Well, the more you cut your hair the faster it grows. That is the best, natural way to do it.

You can't really do much...you just have to wait for it to grow but you can fake it with extensions. But don't get glue in ones, my stepsister did that and the pain of her ripping them out was excruciating for her and I recommend you get clip in ones.

Well, you can try to help it grow faster by eating really healthy stuff and making sure you get it in everyday and once you've covered the healthy stuff, you can eat whatever else you want, just make sure the healthy stuff gets in your body.



By healthy stuff I mean: lots of vegetables, e.g. brocoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Vegetables are SO GOOD! For ideas on how you can serve these vegetables, for example, you can make a vegetable platter with the brocoli, cauliflower, carrots and celery. Cut them up and have fun placing them on a big plate and you can make a dip, like mayonaise+lemon juice so that it doesn't become too dry and plain. Another idea is to make a delicious salad with the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers and as a dressing, this is my favorite part, add lemon juice, olive oil and salt and mix it all together and it's the most wonderful tasting thing ever!



Other than vegetables, there are other healthy dishes you can enjoy, like boiling lentils, or quinoa. They're both really good for you, AND you can add good tasting things to them to make it all taste great! For lentils, for example, my favorite quick and delicious meal is boiling lentils just plain, then adding the favorite dressing same as the salad to it and then Cajun spices. It's really good and on top of that, it's really healthy!



With quinoa, the possibilities are endless! You can add whatever you like to the cooked quinoa and just mix it all up. For example, I like to add cut up tomatoes, and tiny pieces of cauliflower, and then I finish with lemon juice and olive oil. All vegetables are an option, go crazy!



You want to look for foods that have as much protein in them as possible without being bad for you, for example, without having too much salt or fat. Lentils and quinoa are the best with that!



Then there are of course, fruits. Also, these things can be good in small amounts: nuts, including almonds, peanuts, pistachios, and dairy products, including plain yogurt, and milk. Milk is good for you because it has calcium and protein, including other things as well.



Plain yogurt and milk are good for you healthwise, but they're also really versatile in the ways you can combine them with other foods and you can get create creative and have fun with it. For example, this might sound a little weird, but I like to put the plain yogurt in a bowl and eat it with pita bread. I just tear the pita bread in pie-shaped pieces and scoop up yogurt with it. You can make the pieces as big or as small as you like. It's a great snack when you don't know what to eat.

With milk, I just drink it in a glass, of course, or with as much as healthy cereal I can get.



Anyway, my main point is, do you even have one you ask. Well, yes, I do. The main point is to incorporate these healthy options into your meals, and go for them for snacks every day, and it'll make your body healthy from the inside out. It will make your hair healthy and maybe that will help with making it grow faster.



Also, do little things of fitness everyday, like going up the flight of stairs at least once instead of the elevator, you don't have to do it everytime, just get it done that one time and everyday it will add up and you'll feel better just for doing that. Other small things you can do is walk to the store you're going to instead of driving, or go for a little bike ride on your street. If you want to do more than that, you can play a game of tennis with friends, or family. Even if you don't know how to play with the rules, get some rackets and play a fun game and follow the rules as much as you can. Or just go crazy and have a completely different game with the ball and rackets!



Incorporate a little of these healthy bits in your life and it will make you feel great! They're really easy and it'll be great!
