I have naturally crazy frizzy wavy hair sometimes it looks okay scrunched but not that much and it looks ok if i wet it and put it in braids the night before so i have a pretty wave the next day but sometimes when i do that its too poofy and frizzy but i straighten it pretty much everyday but im starting to think it looks too blah and its getting extremely damaged. i want pretty curls but how do i get them i tried using a curler but my curler must not be very good because it didnt do much it made it look worse like straight hair with kinks. i liked the way i got my hair done for homecoming i had pretty curls but its not like i can get my hair done all the time so please tell me how i can get big pretty curls im thinking about a perm but idk if i would like it and i dont have enough money for one right now...thanx :)

My answer will be about the frizzy hair part only.

Frizzy hair is not a hair type, it is a hair condition. What will happen to your hair if it is something in between curly and wavy hair type and is temporarily dry? It will become Frizzy. Frizzy hair looks messy, locks are not shiny and they look fluffy. Such hair become more fluffy in high humidity weather.

What to do with frizzy hair?

As I told above in most cases frizz is caused by dryness, so the key to non frizzy hair is moisturizing...

The best and popular method for today’s modern styles is to use rollers. The curl lasts a long time and it is better for your hair. You can achieve volume, curl, or both. Heat tools are very bad for your hair, even if using heat protectant beforehand and the curl hardly lasts as long. There are different types of rollers, depending on what you want to achieve and your hair type. The popular roller types are Velcro, plastic, and brush. You can also use sponge rollers for sleeping. You might want to start with medium sized brush rollers. They are relatively easy to put in and hold in place with a pick. For volume, use large rollers on the top of your head. To dry your hair quickly, use a bonnet type of hair dryer, or just let them air dry. Many gals roll their hair at bedtime and take them out in the morning, which makes styling really fast.

You can get rollers at store like walmart, but they sell out quickly because they are so popular now. You can also buy them online.

You can straighten your hair until partially wavy then curl your hair with your straightener. If you don`t know how to do this type `how to curl hair with a straightener`on youtube.

I love to scrunch my hair, it is a fun and beachy look perfect for summer!

1.After I take a shower I towel dry my hair. It should not be bone-dry, just a bit damp. (Do not brush or comb through it yet!!)

2. I message Tresemme Curl-Shaping Milk into my hair and be sure so use enough that it will absorb into all of my hair and amplify your lovely tresses.

3. Instead of combing my hair from top to bottom, I comb it starting at the bottom the work my way to the top. For this step we will use a wide-toothed comb so we can dispense and equal amount of product to the hair.

4. With a pea-sized amount of Totally Twisted Gel or mousse on each hand (the finger tips) scrunch your hair into curls SECTION BY SECTION. Be sure to scrunch hair by pushing hair up to your head. To lock in more volume, scrunch hair upside down using both hands at once.

5. You can let your hair air-dry if you would like. If your short on time or are looking for some extra volume, blow dry hair upside down with a diffuser as well.

6. Use dry hairspray to secure your soft and bouncy curls. Wet hairspray will harden, thus weighing down your hair and overall wrecking the hair work. My favourite dry hairspray is Aussie-Aussome Volume.

Enjoy :-)

tips & tricks:

It is the best when you experiment with different hand-finger scrunching techniques. Test them out and pick your favourite!

Don't apply the milk, gel, or mousse at the roots. They will be weighted down plus your scalp will absorb to much moisture and get greasy.

If a particular section of your scrunched curls isn't synchronized or just doesn't look right, pull out your hair curler after it dries!

NOTE: As you may know, there are many methods to use when scrunching your hair so I have picked the best working one for most people! if you want to curl your hair with the other 2 methods use an anti-friz smoothing serum!

i could say curled hair. Straightened hair is so so so hardship-loose! additionally once you straighten it curiously truly skinny and fried, the place as utilising curling irons to create curls or stunning ringlets on your hair supplies it plenty greater volume. Straightened hair has no volume, no shape, no form. Curled hair/ or hair with ringlets has volume, shape, form, makes you seem greater wide awake and energetic. So incredibly what i'm attempting to assert is curled hair or hair with ringlets in is better than straightened hair :)

use Pantene products. when you get out the shower put any sort of hair cream and comb it not brush it. then in like an hour or the next day use a hair oil. do not fully dry hair with towel just let your hair be.

why don't you try flat ironing your hair then using rollers overnight.
