What colors should I wear with red hair?

Just dyed my hair red. In the salon I was wearing a brown shirt and it looked good with my brown hair then once I took the cape off with red hair it looked sooo bad with a brown shirt haha

I used to be a redhead too. I would suggest actually either pink or green. Green looks really good with red for some reason. I wouldn't suggest yellow, it kind of made me look washed out, but then again it varies on your skin tone too. If you're tanner yellow shirt and red hair would look good, but if you're paler yellow and red hair wouldn't look the best. I would suggest just going to a store and trying on every color. That way YOU know what you look best in and can possibly find some different variations of the same color, hope this helps!

Anything you want really, except pink. Just looks gross.

I've been dying my hair red for so long, and I tend to stick to:

greens and blues (all different shades) earthy tones

dark brown

black for sure! red hair & black is super sexy

white and beige

orange or red if you're feeling bold.

yellow is good for summer with red hair



I've never liked the look of red/orange hair paired with pink or purple, it's just too weird. Opposite colours look best!

Wear any shade of blue. It always looks nice. Also purple and some shades of green are very flattering. I recommend you avoid pink, especially dark shades. Black and white also look nice with red hair. White helps to show off the vibrant shade.
