I died my friends hair the other day. She wanted me to die the bottom half of her hair brown and the top part blonde. She has natural red tints in her hair, so she bought a frosting cap kit. But she told me to dye the whole top blonde instead of doing the highlights. So I did what she said. The brown turned out good, but the blonde is like white blonde. It isnt a bad color, its just a little loud. Today she wants me to pull some brown highlights through a cap. Would this make a lowlight look? Will the brown take to her hair and turn it a brown color??? Please help!

if the hair is bleached too much it may not grab the pigment you want it to.

also when that calor fades it may not look to good.

try a semi permanent color or toner.it wont effect the brown and will turn the blond a richer color.

plus its good for the hair.

try a level 8 or 9.

good

luck

Yeah it would, you could do it by using tin foil if you wanted bigger chunks of low lights because the cap will only give her little streaks
