What is the best way to highlight very dark hair [purple streaks] even for just one day without using chemical?

im in 8th grade and we're having a pep rally coming up and i would like to know if any of you would know an effective way to temporarily highlight near-black hair purple without using salon-type dye? even do-it-yourself dye, i can't do; my parents don't want me too, and it would last too long. i just need it purple for one day. i would prefer it shows up purple, but if there's no SAFE way to do that, i guess i'll settle with purple shine... if there's a way to get noticeable purple shine, that would also be greatly appreciated! i also don't want clip-ins because i wouldnt be able to cut them to the right length, they would look tacky on my wavy hair, and they would be too bright for my hair color. i also live overseas, so i don't have any of the stores we have over there in the states, and i don't have the resources to order things online and stuff. please help i really want to show my spirit!

IF you can get a hold of purple...glitter, mascara, hair spray, or even water based paints..poster paint ...acrylic might be hard to get out...tempra..those things will not stain your hair...for a purple shine I suggest unsweeted grape drink powder...but this could last a week at most (on dark hair)...if you use harsh shampoo it will come out quickly. There are also hair dyes like Manic Panic and Rage, these aren't perminant and unless you bleach - it will only show up as a faint tint, and also wash out within a few weeks (in dark hair).

The only way that the purple will show up is by bleaching that section first and then adding the color. You can try to use the purple without prepping your hair first, but if it's as dark as you say there will be very little color visible. Why don't you go to Claire's or some store like that and buy a fake strand of purple hair? I used to have one when I was is middle school and it just clipped in and everyone thought it was real.

red definately red orany neon colorpurplecanbutit has to be realy bright just it looks brown .!
