I have quite long but thin hair. I would like some extensions around 18" or 22" to add a little length, however what do I need to look out for to ensure they will add thickness too? And how do I look after them if I'd be curling/straightening them a lot?

Tape in Hair Extensions are the latest in hair extensions are a great choice for anyone with almost any hair type. Tape in Hair Extensions are simple to apply and to remove and can last up to 6 weeks. A full head of tape in extensions takes only 30 minutes to apply and are extremely durable as well as reusable.

I also recommend choosing tape hair extensions that are made from 100% Indian Remy Human Hair. Since they last up to 6 weeks you want quality hair that is going to look great the entire time you wear them. Remy extensions can also be styled with a flat iron or curling iron and you can use styling products in them as you do your own natural hair.

You can buy them here - http://www.hairshearspro.com/default-category/tape-in-extensions.html

to find thicker ones, make sure your getting a lot of grams of hair.

The more grams, the thicker the hair will be.

and dont straighten/curl them a lot.

I straighten mine daily, but I keep them straight.

If I want curly ones I bought clip ins that are curly.

changing hairtype will damage them VERY fast and they wont last over a few months.

It's okay to change it every now and then, but if you do it a lot you'll be replacing your extensions a TON.

Just make sure you use heat protectant, a GOOD one. And lots of leave in conditioner.

When your ready to go from curly to straight dont just straighten them like that, wash them and let them dry straight. It's easier on your hair. Wash them properly and with an extremely moisturizing shampoo/coditioner btw. Also products like CHI silk infusion are great to put on them over night and such before/after you curl/straighten them. It'll keep them from getting frizzy and keep them healthy.

also try curling them with other methods other than heat. Try getting them wet and braiding them instead of using a curling iron. Avoid heat on your extensions as much as you possibly can.

stitch ins final the longest truthfully and glue damages extreme quantities of hair and clip ons are too plenty artwork primary considering you won't manage to sleep with them on. i prefer to advise Milky way, Saga, Goddess, and Remi. man made or fake hair extensions dont final long and after a short era it gets frizzy and tangled. Human hair or actual hair extensions final the longest as much as 3 months in case you prefer it that long then once you're taking it out you could wash it blow dry it and placed it back on your hair. you will get the weave from any hair keep i think of I stay in randallstown so i bypass to Angies elegance furnish

I got mine from Sallys Beauty and mine has lasted over a year. I have straightened, curled, scrunched and done pretty much everything to mine and they still look great. I only wear them like once a week when Im going out partying so if you are planning on wearin them everyday, go easy on the styling.

Goto Sally Beauty supply and get the clip in. I have done the glue, beads and have found the clip in are best. When they are stuck in your hair having the go get them pushed up as your hair is growing out is a pain. Plus it takes along time to get your hair dry after the shower. Clip ins you take out before you shower and put them back in. Mine are 18 and I had them layered. If you do them right no one will be able to tell. Just make sure you get the real human hair ;)
