My girlfriend recently told me what she does and I tried it and it worked. If you have some curl to your hair, try this:

1. Shower and condition your hair.

2. Towel dry your hair

3. Buy a leave-in-conditioner (Infusia or Aveda's Elixir is good)

4. Then use gel (Infusia or any decent brand) and scrunch

Or try mousse if you prefer that over gel-does the same thing.

5. Then depending on how curly your hair is naturally, use hairspray or you might not need any.

I used these exact same steps and it worked for me for a shiny curl and not a frizzy look.

properly, it enables in case you have wavy or curly hair first of all. generally, if i don't have time to twist my hair contained in the morning, i will braid my hair in one or 2 tight braids whilst my hair is extremely moist, then sleep with it like that. If it does not come out with sufficient quantity, i will use the curling iron on some curls to define them. Sprunch Spray via Aussie help a lot, and it holds the curls. you additionally can use Paul Mitchell Mousse to hold them, yet no longer Garnier Frutise mousse, it leaves an outstanding variety of buildup, and it relatively is stressful to get out.

I don't do that, because it is indeed unhealthy for your hair. I reccomend towel drying your hair a little, and then add like two or three handfuls of gel, and blowdry. While your blow drying you can add some squarts of hairspray but don't over kill your hair with it.

when your hair is damp... gel first [scrunch while you are gelling it], then hair spray and scrunch again with a towel so your hands don't get sticky.... it doesn't do much damage.. just look at all your friends' hair and see if there is breakage!

You have to scrunch it as it dries repeatedly. Kind of a pain. If you find a good hair stylist they can perm your hair to look like that without all the scrunching.

When your hair is damp, try Pantene's curling mousse. It works great, but don't blow dry. Then use SOME hairspray. Good luck....

yah it works, but don't use an entire can of hairspray. that would make it crusty (ew!)
