Do you know any good haircuts for a girl with above-shoulder length hair?

I really need a new hair cut!
I have an oval face, and right now I have straight down bangs. My hair's a light brown and I have no idea what to do with it.
It's also naturally straight, and a little choppy at the top, if that matters.

Well if its just hanging there and you want a really new style you might consider getting it cut in a drop down bob style. its layered at the back and gets longer to the front. I actually got that haircut a week ago and I'm pretty happy with it :) it goes down a few cm's past my chin in the front and quite short in the back. I would suggest that you ask your hairdresser for tips and stuff I have light brown straight hair too and the fact that your hair is straight would make maintenance easier.

if your daring enough to have the chop, this hairstyle really works wonders. I have an oval face and really long hair, but one day I decided to have short hair and it made me look older (taking in I was 14 at the time) and it made my face look shorter:)

Try a centre parting with layers, it shortens your face and adds volume.
