If you want to add volume to your hair try blow-drying it while hanging your down, from the roots of your hair upwards.

Electric Curlers, Sebestian Shaper Hair spray first and after. Never brush always use your fingers. The longer you let the curlers in the culer it will be. So a shorter time will give you more body not curl.

some hair prodocts have a type of white wax in them..(pantine for ex) so they work great in smothing and shining.. but weigh down your hair.. so dont condition the roots ( you have to condition the ends, or they'll become dry) dry your hair upside down.. it helps too...

try useing a spiral curling iron.. they give the best curl and add volume.. oh.. and only use ceramic... ceramic take bad bacteria out of the hair...

curling shampoo doesnt work you should put those velcro rollers in your hair and use hairspray after you put them in and you can either sleep with them in or dry them using a hair dryer
