Not possible. It's going to be on the credit report. Also, if you still decide to go through with this, your parents can have you arrested for fraud and theft. My sisters did that to my parents when they were 8 and the credit card company asked my mom if she wanted to have them sent to jail. It can happen.

Try getting a visa gift card with the amount on it.

There's no way to hide the purchase on the credit card. If you do it, they WILL find out and then they'll start to not trust you and you'll never get a new flat iron.

Best idea, don't be stupid and go out and buy one at the mall.

i think it would be better to go to a high end salon and buy an iron

you said you have enough money, so you can afford it

you can't hide it from their bill. instead get a vista giftcard or something at a convience store like walgreens or a mall. you can use it to buy stuff online

don't do that go to the bank and get a money order. Send the order in like a check and your parents will never know. You mom will see the bill on her statement when you order it if you use her credit card.

I would suggest NOT using your parents credit card, you could get in more trouble than any hair straightener is worth.

If you have the money to buy a good straightener... try shopping at sally's beauty supply, they have a ton of high end straighteners.

If you dont have a sallys near by... try local hair salons, they usually sell the same brands that they use in the shop.

Worst case scenerio... go to walmart and buy a conair. Dont STEAL your parents credit cards.

theres no way you can hide it on the statement, and you wouldnt want to because your parents would notice that their bills don't add up and can cause major problems. just ask a friend if their parents can do it and you can give them cash.

Not gonna work. But here is what will...

Convince them to take a look at the website in the link below, then use the products there to give your hair a break from the heating iron routine. You can have your curls look nice without frizz if you do this:

If you are going curly, you do this:

1. shampoo, rinse

2. deep condition (detangle) and rinse

3. work the leave-in throughout wet hair, then air dry (no towel or blow)

Once your parents see how you are trying to save time and money, and embracing your natural curls, then hit them with this...

Say, "I would like to go straight once in a while, so as not have to blast my hair with chemicals too often...so I want to buy a good quality ceramic iron on the net. But guess what (mom, dad), I can still use those great products you bought me on the net."

And here is how...

If you are going straight:

1. shampoo, rinse

2. deep condition (detangle ) and rinse

3. use a bit of leave-in on the ends, then do your heat

4. use a bit of MIxed Chicks Hair Silk once dry for shine.

BTW, according to Shape magazine, Halle Berry uses Mixed Chicks products.

Good luck. Probably better to become persuasive than sneaky. Those things usually come back on ya x10... Imagine, one day your own kid will be spending thousands on your card.

If you have a checking account you can get a debit card and use it to make online purchases. It works the same as a credit card except the money is taken out of your checking account. I use my debit card for online purchases all the time since I'm trying to limit my credit card usage.

Do NOT use your parents' credit card. They will find out when they receive their next statement. If they're the kind of people who come close to maxing out the card regularly and you use the card behind their back it could cause the card to go over the limit, resulting in them having to pay fees out the wazoo.

If you can find the iron you want in a store, buy it at the store. It'll save you from having to pay shipping and handling charges.

Set-up a Paypal account with your info -- you don't need a bank acct or credit card. Then either have a friend who has access to a credit card send you money, OR just pay yourself with the credit card. You can do this by going to your paypal acct and sending an invoice to your email. Pay the invoice with the credit card. Then you will have money in your paypal account, and you can buy the iron online via Paypal. On the statement, it will say Paypal payment. But if you have a friend do it and just pay them the cash, your parents will never know.

If you can get to a grocery store, just buy a pre-paid visa -- that way, they'll never know. Of course, they also have straightening irons at the grocery store, so I assume you can't get to one.

Give me that 10 points, cause this is def the best solution

Use the money you have and buy a Visa or Mastercard gift card. They're pretty much available anywhere, and it won't show up on your parent's credit card.

I don't advocate going against your parents' wishes, though. Anything you want to do that they have banned you from can wait until you're on your own. It may seem like forever now, but it really isn't that long. :) Maybe try doing things that will let them see you're matured enough to handle it again. Like doing chores without being asked, and be consistent with them. Clean up after yourself, ask your mom if she wants something to drink if you're going for a drink yourself, things like that that show you've gained enough maturity to be considerate of others and their things.

Good luck!

Don't use your parents credit card! It will show up when the bill comes!

What about using Gift cards? (like Visa MyTreat giftcards for example)

Salons also sell good quality flat irons, might want to check there first.

there is no way around the credit card bill. i have tried to find one for years but i always get caught. if its less then $100 she may not notice unless you have really observant parents. or order something else with her consent (clothing or something) and then when she asks about the straightener bill say that came from when you ordered the clothing (again, you will need forgetful parents)

Uh ask for it and talk to your parents about paying them cash and asking if you can use it. Are you too young to get your own card? If your 18+ you can buy a prepaid credit card to put your own money on and buy things that require a credit card.

@catys 8 year olds cant go to jail @ age 8 and the police cant take your child until the age of 10. so something is wrong with your story.

@ts you should really just go to a salon and buy the hair straightener than living you knew you stole from your parents

Using your parents credit card without their knowledge or permission is illegal. It's basically stealing.

If you have the money just ask your mom to purchase it on her card and you will give her the cash. Why would you want to be so deceitful towards your parents?
