I have shoulder length hair and its is very thin. Naturally it is slightly wavy but i usually straighten it.
Now my hair is very damaged and fried from heat damage. I need some advice on some hair styles that don't involve heat! Is there ways to straighten hair without heat?? Are there ways to curl your hair without heat?? Do you know any cute hairstyles that don't involve heat?? Or do you just have some advice that will help me repair the damage i have done to my hair???
Please help! any suggestions are very much appreciated!
Thanks :)_

the onyl one i can think of is take a shower, and then towel dry your hair and then apply sculptin gel and then french braid it or do a fishtail braid and then sleep with it in and then it makes a quick and easy and cute hair style.

Hi =) the Instyler might help but if you don't want to hunt it down or order it you can always buy stuff that protects the burn/heat from your hair, you incorporate it through your hair and then you can curl or straighten and it might protect it from heat a little more if your not already using that. You can curl your hair without heat, first you take a shower (or wet your hair with a brush but taking a shower is more efficient to get your hair all wet) you can put it in curlers and wait for it to naturally dry. Then take it out.. And tada! no-heat curls! There is also a way to do it with paper bags. In my opinion I think curlers are easier.

use good shampoo and conditioner, preferable something moisturizing at the salon, leave in contioner and use heat protectant. You should always use a heat proetctant especially when straightening your hair. I would recomend Hask straight solution or beyond the zone heat protecting serum. Both you can get at Sally beauty supply store for about 5 dollars. You should also use this stuff called redken extreme anti-snap leave in conditioner. It helps with dry damaged hair as well as split ends. It really does help prevent split ends. I love it. You can buy the generic value brand version at sally beauty supply for about 5 dollars or at the salon for 16 dollars. Check it out :)

srry i dunno bougt the uninvoving heat prob BUT to restore your hair eat LOTS OF PROTEIN cus that will help restore damage, avoid heat for a while even in the shower take warm showers not hot ones cus that still does a lot of damage heres a recipe u can put on your hair>

Ingredients:

* 1-2 eggs

* vinegar (dont need)

* baby oil (dont need)

Directions: 10 steps

1. wet hair (damp)

2. beat egg/ eggs

3. pour in 1 tablespoon of vinegar

4.) mix in 2 tablespoons of baby oil

5.) put mix on wet hair (all over)

6.) massage scalp for 1 minute

7.) let it sit in hair for 25-30 minutes

8.) wash hair out with mild shampoo in cool water (warm water will cook eggs into hair)

9.) brush out all egg parts out of hair (while in shower)

10.) rewash again using dandruff shampoo (cus your hair can get REALLY dry after this)

this will:

* take a mounth to actually kick in to replenishing hair

* the egg protein is what makes the hair thicker and help it grow

* The vinegar gets rid of soap scum (even if u cant see it it might B there) in hair

* baby oil makes hair softer and shinny + if good for hair overall

* THIS ISNT A JOKE I DO THIS!

Tips:

*brush lightly and when your hair is partially dry cus brushing with wet hair makes hair easyer to yank out with a comb

* eat a healthy diet and (try to I dont even drink this much) drink 6-8 glasses of water (also helps skin)

* avoid heat

* um put on hairspray after u use heat cus if u do it before your basically making the hair tough and stick together and then burning them! (+ its a fire hazard)

* dont tease hair to often

* um dont wear ponytails too tight ( if u can i dont think it'll make a huge difference)

U WELCOME!

mine? pretty please!
