I've always wondered this. For instance, I look terrible in orange shirts, despite my dark eyes, dark hair, and yellow undertones in my skin. I remember getting caramel highlights one time and they looked bad as well. This is because they were orange-based, so putting caramel highlights on me has the same effect of placing me in an orange shirt. On the other hand, I can suit black clothing very well, but I should never dye my hair black. Does anyone believe that fashion has at least SOMEWHAT of a connection to hair coloring?
