Question:
How do I get Orlando Bloom's hairstyle?

I think Bloom's hairstyle is very cool, (the medium-lenght one (elizabethtown), not the faux.hawk, nor the longer pirate one).

I want to think his hairstyle might fit me, since my hair is dark, thick, wavy and very abundant too.

Unfortunately, my hair looks (and feels) fuzzy, frizzed, with excessive volume, dry and stiff, while Bloom's hair looks soft silky and manageable.

What should I do? I'm tired of always having to wear my hair short (to avoid excees volume and fuzziness). I would like to try a longer, more stylish hairstyle, but every time I try I end up giving up. Someone told me that I need a "relaxing treatment", but that sounds like an expensive and temporary solution.

Don't do a relaxer--that's going to end up looking VERY straight, which isn't what you want. What you want to do is get a conditioner that holds in moisture (try "remoisturize" by Pantene). After you get out of the shower, put some weightless mousse in your hair (try Dove's weightless mousse) followed by some shine serum (try John Freida's shine serum). Then, DO NOT TOUCH! let it air dry without touching it at all...the touching is what adds the volume. When completely dry, run your fingers through your hair ONCE to smooth just a bit, then voila---Orlando's hair!
