My hair is very thick, frizzy, and unmanageable. It is about shoulder length. What can I use (Methods/Products) to make my hair have soft spiral curls. I don't want the curls to make my hair look really short. Any suggestions?

My answer will be about the frizzy hair part only.
Frizzy hair is not a hair type, it is a hair condition. What will happen to your hair if it is something in between curly and wavy hair type and is temporarily dry? It will become Frizzy. Frizzy hair looks messy, locks are not shiny and they look fluffy. Such hair become more fluffy in high humidity weather.

After you wash your hair, while it is still damp, work a handful of mousse through it with your hands. Mousse helps form curls and reduces frizz.
Also, pick up anti-frizz hair product with silicon in it. It will also help with the frizziness.
If you blow-dry your hair, dry it with the hair dryer on "cool" temperature settings.
One more thing, try using shampoo and conditioner for dry or frizzy hair.

I just use my straightners, straighten it out first then let it cool down then use your straighteners to curl your hair you just turn the straightner in a curling motion...
