just bought a CHI today and noticed it has no temperature control. I'm not saying it's particularilly a bad thing....I'm just curious as to what the temperature is because I can't find it in the manual :/ If it changes anything its the blue holiday edition one that comes with a clutch-like case.
And to anyone who owns a CHI..
Do you like it? How are your results?

It depends on the CHI flat iron you bought. They have different variables in the width if the plates. IT ranges from 240 degrees F to 350 degrees F. I couldn't find how wide the Blue Holiday Edition is :( but somewhere between there. I've used a CHI and they're alight but I dont like that it doesn't have a temperature control lol My hair doesn't need 350 degrees plates on it to be straightened. Only about 200 degrees. Not even. But it's nice that the plates are small. I have short hair and I bought a flat iron with 5 inch long plates and...they're kinda too long haha. But on consumer repots they reported that out of I think 10 flat irons, the CHI was number 9 out of ten. But I guess it all depends on how you personally use it, your preference, and how you treat it (like dropping it on accident and stuff). I think it'll work great! Hope you like it XD !!

Oh gosh. properly first, chis dont artwork for thick hair!! believe me! i over labored mine because of the fact my hair became so thick and it died in a twelve months. yet once you insist on useing it, if your hair is relatively thick, set it on the optimal putting! I now have a 2" conair which you would be able to set temp it became in ordinary terms 30 money and it heats as much as 4 hundred* thats what I even have it set on. Thick hair=needs an more advantageous temprature!!!
