I have dry hair that gets static-y and frizzy very easy. But, it also gets really greasy when I use too much product. I was thinking of trying some John Frieda or Paul Mitchell. Which brand is better in general? Here are the specific products I am thinking about:

John Frieda Straight Fixation Smoothing Creme:
http://www.johnfrieda.ca/en/20_516.asp

or...

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum:
http://www.johnfrieda.ca/en/20_121.asp

What is the difference between the two? Which would work better for my dry, frizzy hair without making it greasy?

--------------------------------------

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum:
http://www.paulmitchell.com/Products/PaulMitchell/Smoothing/Pages/SuperSkinnySerum.aspx

or...

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm:
http://www.paulmitchell.com/Products/PaulMitchell/Smoothing/Pages/SuperSkinny%C2%AERelaxingBalm.aspx

Again, what is the difference between the two? Which would work better for my dry, frizzy hair without making it greasy?

--------------------------------------

The product doesn't need to straighten my hair, just keep it frizz-free, manageable, and NOT greasy.

Thanks so much! ♥

i use the John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum and it works wonders!! :)

u have to be careful not to put on too much cuz ur hair will get greasy, like u said before....really, a couple drops is all it takes....place a couple drops in ur hands and work them thru ur entire hair, mostly on the top, where all the little frizzies are :) good luck!!

John Frieda all the way. It makes my hair shiny, silkey, and super sleek. While Paul MItchell makes my hair greasy and sticky. I can wear John Frieda all day and my hair stays perfect in any weather. That stuffs like freraking heaven in a bottle! :) Enjoy!

I use John Frieda Frizz Ease Thermal Protection serum and I love it. It does not make my hair look greasy at all.

the john frieda serum is pretty good, but I've been dying to use the Paul Mitchell super skinny stuff. It's just kind of expensive.

Or.... after you wash your hair, wrap it in a 100% cotton tshirt, when you wake up your hair will be a lot less frizzier.... and its cheap.. just use an old tshirt.
