With a layered haircut, that might be tough. Do you have any hot rollers?? I would roll my hair, then use some rhinestone clips on each side. That is usually stylish. I just bought some of those clips for my niece from Walmart.
Or you can braid the hair on the sides and use the clips. Good luck

A nice classic look would be to part your hair to the side at an angle just a little, then pull your hair in a half updo. Its a nice hairstyle that will keep you hair away from your face (so you dont have to worry about if its getting messy while you enjoy yourself), and also shows off your length.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I actually have short hair and guys such as it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a man with long hair because long tresses tends to make guys look too girly.

I have short curly hair for the first time since I actually was 10 years old and I really like it but I miss my long curly locks so I'm growing it back out!
