Best Flat Iron?

What is the absolute best flat iron? I have a Wet2Straight right now which is damaging my hair. Price is not an issue really, I'm asking for one for my big thing for Christmas. I have heard a lot of good things about Sedu, and I've used a CHI before, but I know they break easily. IF it is over $100, I probably won't choose you for best answer. PLEASE INCLUDE LINKS!!

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron

From CHI

Buy new: $84.29

Product Description

Chi Original 1" Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Model GF-1001 The CHI can be considered

one of the most versatile Hairstyling Irons on the market today. The CHI's ergonomic

design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.

The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal

in natural moisture. It's great to use prior to a Dry Haircut. The ceramic coated paddles

help prevent scorching hair color and helps reduce styling product build-up. Featuring an

extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside

the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are

recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will automatically heat up in less than 10

seconds. Temperature is preset at 150-180 degrees Celsius(302-356 degrees Fahrenheit)

Sorry, but the Chi is the best I've found. I would recommend the Chi's Wet 2 Dry (http://www.overstock.com/Health-Wellness/Wet-2-Dry-CHI-Ceramic-Flat-Iron/2347256/product.html) - Chis come with an excellent warranty and mine hasn't broken yet. If you're concerned, you may consider the Ultra Chi which often comes with a thermal bag to keep it in for less problems with burning. I may not get best answer since the one I'm recommending is $200, but the best products are often more expensive and you did say price was no object.

Try the HAI flat iron. MY hair is bleached and it still will not damage it horribly. They usually cost $125 but they are on internet sale at that link for $85. They are worth every penny, i swear. I have had mine for 3 years now, and dropped it about 4 times and it still is in perfect condition. All my hairdresser friends swear by them....which is how I got mine. They get your hair flat really fast too. ANd according to my friends that do hair, the CHI is really not that good.

LOOK THE chi flat irons ARE THE BEST.

But they are expensive, around $150 dollars.

But to be truthful as long as you go with a ceramic Flat iron, or Tourmaline.......Its bound to be good.

Wal-Mart is the best place to get them at a reasonable price!

Hope that was helpful!!

The CHI iron is the final. it extremely is around $150, even though it extremely is nicely worth it. I particularly have curly hair too and it gets it board as we talk and that i take advantage of it very nearly daily and my hair is in super situation.

is amazing!!!! frizz free! soo smooth

http://www.flatironreviews.com/<-- will shower you all different irons

All flat irons are going to do alot of damage to your hair. The wet to straight-even more damage. The say to not even brush your hair when its wet because it creates soo much damage so straightening with all that tugging to it..way worse! Get a ceramic Flat Iron def.

A great hair repair http://www.got2b.com/got2b-main.htm?got2b

HMMM.MAYBE U SHOULD GO DOEN TO ULTA OR A HAIR SALON AND ASK THEM THERE.THE HAIR DAMAGE PART REALLY WONT MATTER SINCE NO MATTER WHAT YOU USE URE HAIR IS GONNA GET DAMAGED ANNYWAYS SO MAYBE TO PROTECT IT A LITTLE MORE YOU SHOULD USE SOME SHAMPOO N CONDITIONER TREATMENT FOR HAIR THAT GOES UNDER HEAT.
