Should I get a pixie cut?

Question

Getting my haircut in a few days, I want to make a big change but my family isn't honest enough with me to tell me about how I should cut my hair. I've always wanted a pixie cut (boy short in the back but longer in the bangs) and have an oval face. The only problem is, most girls who look good with pixie cuts have no chest, and my chest it large compared to my height and weight. Here's a picture of my face:

My hair is thick, and straight, and I got that done when I was just married. I hated it! From hair down to my waist (curly when I got married) I went to a pixie. Thinking my hubby married me for my long hair. I was wrong! He love me no matter what length my hair was. We're still married, btw. But since my hair was too thick, I looked like a boy and couldn't do much to my thick hair.



I suggest you go for medium, even shoulder length hair, that way you have other options to go up, braided, or loose. But if you've always wanted to have the boy short style, go for it! I just wasn't. I had more confidence with long hair. Princess Di's style. You know what? I did it again, when I started to have children, but I didn't want to look like a boy, next to my sons, and dh, I wanted to look more like their mom and not a 'brother' or sister. LOL

First let me say this.. You are SO PRETTY.. And usually I am all for someone chopping all their hair off, and without seeing you in person, checking out your style, seeing your proportions I can't say FOR SURE, but just based on the pictures I saw of you, I don't think a pixie cut would suit you. That being said, you could do an adorable ear to chin length bob with either straight across or side swept bangs. That would really bring our your features!

A pixie cut would not look good on you. You'd look much prettier if your hair was longer, not shorter. Short hair would make you look like a lesbian. It's an easy way to come out of the closet.

it all depends on how mature you are and what you bone structure is like. if you are very young (ie, 14-) then you may end up looking like a boy. if you are kind of heavy/overweight then you may end up looking butch. however if you are slender and pretty you should be able to pull it off. hair doesn't take that long to grow. if you were to have it really short (ie, 1.5 inches on the top and 0.5 inches on the sides) within 6 months your nape hair will be almost down to your shoulders and your hair above your ears will be about chin length. good luck in what you choose

You would not look good in a pixie cut. The longer the hair, the better!!

choose for it !!! you have the comparable shape of face I used to have and that i replace into worried as quickly as I have been given my hair cut back in a pixie cut back that I wouldnt tournament it ( my hairs long now nonetheless !) regardless of if it surely appeared rather superb and that i've got been given lots of compliements. i think of you're able to do merely it, you're rather fantastically and you have a superb shade of hair so i think of you ought to pull it off ! I wouldnt recommend getting it cut back rather short nonetheless .( i'm not so advantageous in case you're able to tournament it rather short ) you could continuously ask the hairdresser their opinion aswell ! wish I helped !!!

With your face shape, you would probably need to frame the face. You would probably be best to avoid the length. At least make it on the neck. But, hey, it's your hair!
