Hey everyone. I am getting a cut for school, and idk what to get. I want bangs of some kind and it to have a bit of an edgier look. I have thick, wavy hair that's armpit length. Thank you for the help.

I have super curly hair, and i have side bangs which worj out well cuz i have a round face! lol.. but when i got a haircut i cut my hair so that when its curly it falls right on top of my shoulder and the lady thinned it. She did this by twisting parts of my hair and just snipping a little, it gives a style without the typical well defined layers which wouldn't work well for me because the hair would bunch up at the top. Good luck

Are you thinking of cutting it short? I preferred my hair longer, because now when I try to wear it curly, ugh. I have to straighten it most of the time. I can give you a link of a photo of my hair if you want to see if you like the cut...I actually love it. I have sideswept bangs because I would have liked to get the square ones that cut straight across your face and they are kinda choppy? Kinda reminds me of what Demi Lovato used to look like I think. Anyway, you have to have the right face shape.

Those square ones are kind of edgy...and I think I can dig up another photo of an "edgy" look I did once too. Lol I have pretty much done everything I can think of with my hair!

Un-even, fringe side-bangs, if you straighten your hair

Wavy hair looks best with side-bangs, whether it's uneven or even.
