I need help trying to do this hairstyle for my PROM TONIGHT!?"?

I really need help help fast!. My prom is TONIGHT and I can't figure out how t do this hairstyle. Also people say that you only use bobby pins to do this hairstyle. Is there a way I can tie it up in a pony tail and make it look like that?. It's just that my hair falls out of bobby pins really easy and tying my hair up id the only way. I need good easy step-by-step instructions on how to get my hair like that^^for prom tonght!. Thanks a million!

If you have curly hair this will be easy.

1. Wash your hair, when you get out add a smoother/defrizzer

2. Add some moose through your wet hair.

3. tousle (spelled wrong I think) it with your fingers

4. Clip back sections with black bobby pins or decorative ones.

5. DO NOT smooth it out as you clip it back!

6. Clip it all back with a nice clip (easiest to use a claw clip)

7. Let the rest of your curls fall at random, placing the stray ones gently.

8. Wrap a few sections around your finger to get more tame curls. Also add a few around your face. Spray with hair spray to set and your ready to go :)



Its my fav up do cause it only takes 5 minutes once you get used to doing it and looks awesome :). Good luck and I hope I helped :)



P.S. If bobby pins don't work then try decorated baby claw clips :)

If your hair is too heavy for bobby pins (even the large ones) you won't be able to get this look in your hair. What I would do is put it up in a ponytail at the crown of your head, curl it in loose sections (use a flat iron to make the curls if you know how), then pin pieces up around the base of the ponytail and then further out. At the beginning you may want to leave out two small pieces over your ears so that you will have small curly whisps surrounding your face.

4.PUT YOU HAIR IN A PONY TAIL MAKE SURE YOU DO IT CAREFULLY



5. TAKE YOUR HAIR AND PUT IT IN A BUN MAKE SURE IT'S KIND OF MESSY BECAUSE WHEN IT'S MESSY IT LOOKS HOT



6.IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT IDEA KEEP THE PONEY TAIL AND TRY THIS IDEA GET SOME OF YOU HAIR AND BRING IT UP TIE IT WITH A BOBBY PIN



7. AFTER YOU PICK WHICH ONE YOU WANT TO PUT SOME HAIR SPRAY AND YOUR DONE

You can try doing your hair in a really loose and messy bun. Get some bobby pins and secure hair that falls out of the bun like Vanessa has in. Secure the hair as best as you can. If you have regular clips, they might work, too, and if you want to hide the clip, twist the hair before you clip, then let the hair hang over the clip.

I was going to give you a youtube link to a tutorial vid but its the same one as the first poster gave you. If your hair is naturally curly or wavy sruch dry it to get the same texture, if its naturally straight thong it. You could put your hair up in a ponytail and then fix it into that style with the bobby pins, my hair falls out of them easily too. I find if you spray a little hair spray on them before you put them in your hair then finish your hair style with plenty of hair spray they stay in longer.
