So I had black hair and it was damaged at the ends just needed a trim. But I was bored with the black and decided to do a light brown maybe blonde eventually. Well long story short I let a friends gf do it cuz I was on a budget. I know. Mistake one. She bleached it twice, colored it with highlights and then told me I needed at least 2 inches removed because of damage but then she acutally cut a lot more. I've never had curly hair in my life and its to puffy, short, dry, and such an ugly color, I need help with all of these. So if you can answer any of these questions please... please help. I've been crying for 7 hours now....

1: how can I make my hair grow faster?
2: how can I get it somewhat back to health?
3: Is there anyway to get rid of the color? .... what's a rinse?

Try K-pax reconstructor. You can get it at JCPenney salons. It is a miracle worker! It really helps fried hair. On top of that, try using some shampoo for damaged and color treated hair. And finally, as far as growing hair faster goes, the best thing I have used is prenatal vitamins. It will even help your nails grow faster!

My step mom is a cosmologist, so i kinda know what to do.

1. to make your hair grow faster..you could try a supplement. not many other choices.

2. you definitely need to do some conditioning treatments. and lots of them. i use "enjoy" products but they are actually kind of rare. i would recommend the "enjoy hair mask" but they are only sold in professional salons(but i get it from my step-mom) and im not sure if they would have any around you.. or just put conditioner on your hair and heat up a towel and wrap it around your head and it will actually be a deep conditioning treatment. you could also go to Sally's and pick up a conditioning treatment in there that aren't that expensive.

3. the color..i would def. dye it back darker. there is not a rinse to get rid bleached hair. when you bleach your hair..the color over the bleach might eventually wash out(a little bit) but then you are going to be stuck with the ugly bleach color. but i wouldn't want to rinse it because it would just look worse.

you need to go to a professional and they can make it look presentable and tell you how to nurse it back to health. that would honestly be your best option.

i would be crying right there with. i had a really bad experience with bleach and blonde myself. my hair was actually flying off my head with i was blow drying it. horrible experience..i can only imagine what you are going through.

good luck

well first the only way for u to get black out of your hair its called a color cleans which has to be done by a professional. it is a long process .... it can take up to 8 hours to complete depending on how long your hair is and what level you would like to go to.... and putting bleach you will have to do a protein treatment one week and the next week u need to follow with a moisturizing treatment. it would be best to get a protein base shampoo/ conditioner and a moisturizing based shampoo/ conditioner. That should get ur hair back on the road of becoming healthy

Hi there, my name on this site is Andy, but I am a grandmother and will be 66 on 1/17. Go to my site at ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/bonibee44/). I have taken care of my hair all of my life. Here are some important tips. By the way, I have been trying to cut my hair for years but my husband says he will divorce me if I do. Decide for yourself if what I am doing for my hair is good. I am an herbalist and I take Vitamins and herbs everyday. For healthy hair we need to take, a few things like B complex for the hair, Horsetail, Alfalfa and I use a few different oils on my hair. I also use a goldenblond color on my hair but I use one that does not have amonia in it and I only put it on the roots so as not to burn the longer hair over and over every time you color it. I am not all grey but I like the reddish blond tones better than my own color. Also, you need protein in your diet to have healthy hair. Not junk food! You also need your greens and salads. Biotin, a B vitamin makes hair grow faster, but don't take it without the rest of the B vitamins, it will cause a deffiency in the ones you are not taking. Put some warm oils on your hair a couple times a month to get it so it is not brittle. Don't color it anymore till you get it to feel healthier, otherwise you will just burn it more. Horsetail is high in Silica, so is Oats, goat milk and goat cheese. People who want nice hair, skin and fingernails need to take Silica. Go to my website and see my hair and you will see what I mean. Hope this helps. B.

Do yourself a favor, and don't touch it. Go to a professional to fix your hair. Bleaching twice in a row is a HUGE no-no. Then to add highlights on top of it. You are lucky it did not fall out in clumps. I would suggest cutting off the damaged ends, deep conditioning your hair (sleep in conditioner if you must), and then visit a salon about the color/damage issue.

1.you can get your hair to grow faster... hair grows about half an inch a month.

If you really hate having it short get extensions ( they are really helpful)

2. Go to a salon and tell the person that cuts your hair about the damage she will know exactly what to do

3. ummm you may want to go to a drug store and get one of those self hair coloring packets

just chose the color your want and done

1. Stop putting chemicals in your hair. If you straighten your hair every day stop or at least ues a really good heat protecter.

2. Go to a salon

3. Again go to a salon

one thing you don't need to do is do it yourself. get a hair stylist to do it for you

ask them to tell you a product to get it back to health. for te color.... you need a professional fix that.
