Yes it can be done. But only in a good reputable salon. This what should happen. When you go into the Salon they will show you a colour chart and ask what is your desired target colour. They will use a bleach bath on your hair which will strip your hair( depending on your desired hair colour will determine the duration) Depending on the desired colour they will possibly put a combination of colours on to reach your target colour. Try to find a salon with a colour technician it is so important to do so.

Hey there hunny!

i'm a hair dye junky and I have personally stipped my hair from black to blonde!

I used russel Jerome blonde/hair lightener kit, its about £4 from wilkinson and it works a treat!

I have also changed my hair from black to brown, or to red, green etc!

the process all begins the same way, with a peroxide kit, be warned though it can make your hair brittle and snap off (been through this myself)

After you have used the peroxide its best to leave your hair for a few days, so perhaps do it on the weekend so if it goes wrong at least you can hide in bed.

after a few days, or if your not bothered, then you can put a colour on top, go for a conditioning, nourishing one like garnier!

after you have done this make sure to deep condition your hair at least once a week to get it to its normal state!

you might not have a problem but because you have to leave the peroxide on so long it does tend to dry out your hair!

another option is spend a huge amount of money at the hairdressers or leave your hair to start growing out!

00o and one more tip, washing your hair with washing up liquid helps to get rid of your dye so try doing this before you start anything xx

You're not going to find anything that will return you to your natural hair color. Ive tried. The have hair stripping kits that take the tint from your hair so it allows you to dye it a different color. I suggest you use the kit and dye your hair to a color that is similar to your natural hair color and let it grow out. Just be aware... stripping the color does a number to your hair. You may want it to be done prefessionally

have it done at a GOOD hairdresser's. I had my dyed black hair stripped 6yrs ago, and it went orange!

I had it done at a decent salon this year, and then had it done blonde (I love it). It took about 3 hours, and cost £90 but was worth it

oh dear, this is very difficult. You REALLY shouldnt do it yourself! If you do want it done really badly then go to a hairdressers but even they will recomend against it as it damages the hair really badly.
