wax strips or hair removal cream? which is better for upper lip?

so i've been getting my upper lip waxed at the salon for about a year and a half. but i'm thinking of either buying ready wax strips or hair removal cream from superdrug so i can do it by myself at home. but im not sure which one i should get. which one is better for me to buy and use on my upper lip.

Wax strips cane and can leave the skin really sore and swollen if you don't do it right and invest in the good stuff!

Creams are better but I would definitely do a patch test with hair removal creams every time you pick up a new brand, because otherwise you could have nasty burn marks on your face!

Waxing tends to be more efficient but creams are less painful.

Alternatively, you can get this thing from superdrug amongst other places which is kind of like a file and you move it in circular motions and it sort of sands away the hairs? I've used it and been very impressed with the results before!

Since upper lip hair is not usually thick, hair removal cream will work just as well as wax strips and will be a lot less painful! just make sure you get the ones that are made especially for your face to avoid any irritation. =)

I use this product called nadds facial hair removal wand eyebrow shaper but it works for upper lip hair too. its like a wax you apply and then you use a strip to remove the hair. its reasonably painless and it doesnt grow back for ages. My sister uses it for her eyebrows and they look really good :D

I googled the hair removal File thing that Frazadoo mentioned and I found out that it is called No! No! it has crystals that sands away hairs... Another thing 1 found is Smooth away, i believe it does the same.. They look like this
