Long hair or short hair?

Question

which do you prefer? and how long is yours? I could go with either one but my hair has always been on the long side, except for the pixie cut i had when i was 5. right now it's just down to my waist.

I love both, I've had great experience with haircuts over the years and as a person with thick straight healthy hair in currently on the long side which reaches down my tailbone, I prefer long hair because you can create amazing hairstyles and can do many things with hair. On the other side, short hair is great if you prefer short hair down to your shoulders you can still do really nice things with it. Long hair needs a lot of care making sure it stays healthy but every thing with long hair is hard. Short hair however is a great style if your the kind of person who is not willing to put too much time and effort in long hair. If you have damaged hair then I prefer cutting your hair into a lob and growing it out into nice healthy locks. I know I put way more info on hair than what you asked me. Here is my answer. I have a pixie cut which I am loving, and I prefer short hair on myself way more than my long hair which used to nearly touch my hips. But, any hair length can look good on anyone as long as they like it and they style it right. I think everyone should try short and long at some point in their life.

My hair is getting pretty long, close to the shoulders. I usually try to keep hair that I've grown out, its an achievement. I am close with someone studying as a beautician and she told me she doesn't want to seem too critical, but feels I should have my hair cut short. When she needs a male model for her training, I have agreed to let her cut my hair.

My hair is long, but not to my waist. I prefer hair my length because it isn't too hard to take care of and generally if you have hair much longer than mine (like 3 or 4 inches above my belly button) then it is very hard to keep it healthy because you have to cut your hair every few months even if it is just a little bit to get rid of split ends. Also the longer your hair the more tangled it gets so when you brush it you can get hair breakage.

My hair is long (mid back) I've always had it long except when I was really little too. Lately I've had the urge to chop several inches off. I'm not totally sure yet but I think a medium length (maybe shoulder length) is a good inbetween. There's always room to decide to grow it longer again or cut it shorter when it is at that length!

I personaly enjoy the mid length look. My hair is down to under my boob. be warned, when you cut your hair, it will be a shock at first, you have to prepare yourself mentaly for not having really long hair to run your fingers through. If I were you I would cut it to about your bra strap, its not too short or too long. If you like the way it looks like that and think you want to go shorter then go for it. But if you wish it was longer, it wont take as long to get to where you want it.

It is up to you and your face shape; Usually, some face shapes like oval and heart face look great with a pixie haircuts. Examine your face in the mirror to know your face shape and imagine how you will look with the haircut or go to the store and try on a wig. It might not look natural wearing a wig sometimes, but if you get a comb and leave some of your hairline out, it may look a "little" bit natural.
