I dyed my hair black two days ago. I want to dye over it again with blue so it'll be slightly bluish. Will there be any bad color effects?

If subtle is what you want then no there are no bad effects. It will end up as a blue black but will not be super noticeable in certain lighting. If your looking to get it a dark blue where you can tell the color you would have to lighten it a bit with blonde box dye or bleach. Either way you have to leave the color on for awhile in order to get the bluish tint you want. I have to leave on my dye for an hour which is safe because box color and direct dyes have short processing times and typically stop processing after 30 minutes. I would also recommend putting a shower cap over your hair while you wait to help the color seep into the cuticle. If whatever dye you use leaves your hair dry feeling use a deep conditioner or you favorite conditioner and leave it on for 30 minutes-1 hour.

It would be hard to see. For the best effect use bleach over the black to make the color more bold. If you do not want that wait a week for the black to lighten up a little then apply the blue dye. Mix in a little peroxide with the die for best effect. Good luck
