Natural hair salons in DCarea?
I need a natural hair salon that does natural (as in african american hair no perm but NOT dreads or locks or anything like that). I'm looking for straw sets, wet sets, spirals, flat iron, press etc

I need someone who will consult with a teenager and giver her tips for healthy maintenance while in college. She has had a weave for two years and has taken it out - wants to remain "natural" but have some style. Need good consultation, and regular conditioning. Thanks

Twist-N-Turns Natural Hair Salon is one that I have heard of personally.I'm a natural hair stylist, and really advise a lot of people that I know of (who can't come to my shop) to just go to a natural product line, and DIY. Unless your daughter likes getting her hair done, I would strongly advise investing in natural hair products and asking questions from their online consultant, as opposed to going to a salon. If you want your hair pressed go to a Dominican salon...they're all over and I'm sure there is one in DC.
