Should I straighten my hair everyday?

I straighten my hair everyday, and I'm pretty young. But i just feel REALLY ugly if i don't. Normally, people have like "natural cute curls/wavy" hair or something w/o straightening. But w/o straightening with my hair is reallyy ugly. ):

Should i blowdry my hair before straightening or just air dryy? I use a heat protector thingy too, but I don't reallly know if it works. My friends say I have no split ends. Is there a diff. way then straightening my hair with heat? Do any straightening shampoos/conditioners/spray/ect work actuallyy?
I also want to know how to volumize my hair more, its usually flat near the top of my head, and volumized near my neck/lower. I don't get why it does that, but it looks really ugly, and during the day my hair gets really tangly. At school, i don't have the time to brush my hair, any tips?

Yes, a lot of questions! xD
Thank you in advance :)

first of all, dont shampoo your hair everyday.

it takes the natural oils out.

shampoo your hair once or twice a week.

conditon your hair everday though.

leave it on for at least an hour or so.

or you can leave it on overnight and sleep with it (wrapped in a towel)

and wash it in the morning.

makes your hair soo soft and helps with breakage, dry and damaged, frizzy hair.

do not use pantene or herbal (they have chemicals and waxes that isnt good for our hair)

use dove therapy or tressume! dove therapy has serum in there.

eat lots of healthy food.

red meat helps with hair growth

bananas, vitamins (vit c and b) helps with hair growth.

massage your scalp while washing your hair (helps with hair growth and increase blood cirulation)

do not brush your hair while wet, causes breakage and frizziness.

let it air dry. comb your hair with your fingers.

let it down and straight.

just keep conditioning your hair all the time to prevent damages and breakage

let it air dry first before straightening.

use a heat protector spray (got 2b) on damp hair then let it air dry.

its fine to straighten your hair everyday

but if your not going out or anything

you dont really need to striaghten your hair!

but yess, straightening your hair does some damage

but conditon your hair all the time!

for volume

you can back comb your hair a little bit

use a comb and take a piece of hair

and scrucnh it back and forth

then brush it down, gently

use dove or tressume volumizing spray or moouse after that.

or if you dont want to back comb

just put some moouse in your hand

and puff up your hair

gives some volume.

Straightening your hair everyday is the worst thing to do. Depending on how long you have been straightening it for, your hair will get super weak and you ill notice a lot more hair in your brush. When you tug on your hair it breaks at the roots and damages the rest of your hair. Blow-drying is worse, it dries out your hair giving a dull looking result.

Continue straightening if you're that self-consious of your hair.

Depending on what time you have your shower, make sure your hair is dry before you go to bed. Towel dry your hair gently (hair is weakest when wet) and brush your hair maybe every 5 minutes? Doing this, you are manipulating your hair to dry the way it looks

Is your hair thick or thin? Getting layers gives you a volumized look, but what i do is i bend over so all my hair is over my head and i shake the roots then i flick it all up and it gives a nice look.

Pack a brush in your school bag and brush it every break you get.

Hope this helped

Friends are honest so you probably have no split ends and the heat protector probably works. I would air dry your hair because straightening and blow drying will eventually damage your hair. Try using volumising mousse at the roots of your hair only and see if that works. You could also try plaiting your hair when it is wet and maybe straighten the bits at the top.

*volumizing is easy with teasing and/or hairspray

*straighting isn't a good thing, but I dunno if it's bad thing either (I've straightened my hair for 7 years almost everyday with no heat protector and my hair dresser said I have some of the healthiest hair she's seen)

*I don't think there's a way to straighten w/o heat, I know you can curl with a paper bag (youtube!) It turns out cute if you want to try it.

it's bad to straighten it everyday because heat damage the hair

why don't you try to straighten it chemically at least you'll just need to do it everyday and will stay for a month like rebonding. are you familiar with hair rebond it's famous here in Philippines and cost 1,500 pesos.
